David Haller is a patient in a mental hospital. He has been there for several years now and life is pretty much uneventful. Then one day a new patient, beautiful Syd, arrives and he is immediately smitten by her. Little does he realise how his life is about to be turned upside and him discover special powers that he never knew he had.
This show is a of work of art, it's brilliant ! The so complex story, characters, general background and that of the characters, the visuals, design, atmosphere, special efffects, symbols, metaphors….I could go on about it probably writing in the entire area of comment….that's how superb this TV show is. It's ABSOLUTELY worth your time, more than you could initially think of, and, undoubtedly, infinetely more than the time you spend on the other existing superhero silver screen series like Defenders, Gotham Iron Fist, The Flash and so on. Legion is the best superhero TV series there is, out there. It's so deep in every sense (and especially in the psychological, mental and emotional one) unsettling in the best way possible, so well-built and intricate, the relationships that form between the heroes, the psycho-telepathic analysis and mind teleportation processes… it's all so great in an unspeakable way. You will understand this feeling that cannot be described in words ONLY by watching it and then you will understand what I am saying (trying to say, more exactly) here. There does not exist, at this moment, any other show from this category to be superior in quality than Legion !!
Masterpiece. I have never been more excited for a second season of a TV show in my life. This show metaphorically blew me away when I first experienced it and a second viewing only made it better.<br/><br/>I could comment on individual performances here but it is just impossible to single out a single person in this cast. All of them bring so much to the table. Actually, I would like to mention Jermaine Clement's performancehe has one monologue that intoxicated me. I want that man to read me a bed time story every night.<br/><br/>My advice for this show would be to binge watch it. The 2nd and 3rd episodes can get a little slow sometimes but, trust me, its both necessary and worth it to set up the rest of the series.<br/><br/>P.S. This show made superheroes cool again.
